She also co-hosts Rabbiting On spoken word group at The Rabbit Hole Independent Bookshop in Brigg with partner in poetry Amy Garratt.

Suitable for 16+

Amanda takes the mic and whoosh!!! There she goes! A firecracker! A powerhouse of enthusiasm, putting her all into her poetry, with her burning commitment to deliver a stellar performance. She never fails to disappoint!
Sarah Drury, Performance Poet

Powerful poems, some meant to be performed, some to be read. Plain written, uninhibited observations of the challenges of everyday life and the toll they take on our mental wellbeing. A must read for the empath and the emotionally aware.
Geoff Probert, Performance Poet

Amanda rediscovered her creative self in 2022 when she began writing as a therapeutic outlet. She follows no rules of poetry writing or prose, combining gut feeling with a spontaneous approach, and her debut collection shares the sense of hope, tenacity and compassion. Her intention is to inspire others to write for their own mental health and wellbeing.

Her poetry was featured in The Scroll Magazine during October 2022, and in 2023, she performed at The Festival of Love, D31 Art Gallery, Doncaster and Scunthorpe Pride on behalf of Speak Out Scunny, as well as co-hosting and performing for the spoken word stage at the No Limits Festival.
